Sherwood Chiropractic Center has been providing caring, attentive chiropractic care since 1994 to the Decatur, Emory and Metro Atlanta areas.  We believe that being part of a community is integral to health and our office strives to be a warm, nurturing and energetic place where patients can come to feel re-connected to themselves and to others.  Our goal is to take help our patients feel wonderful again.

Some info about the doctors:

Dr. Kathleen Sherwood has been a chiropractor in Decatur/Metro Atlanta since 1994 and is a grad of Life University in Marietta as well as Temple University in Philadelphia.  She lives in the Briarcliff Woods neighborhood, 2 1/2 miles from the office with her husband Stan (an epidemiologist at the CDC), their daughter Eva, son Mateo, 2 dogs, 2 birds, and 2 cats.  She is active in the American Chiropractic Association, the Georgia Chiropractic Association, and the Decatur Business Association. She enjoys cooking, organic gardening, building things out of bamboo, exercising, hiking, and reading up on all things healthy.

Dr. James Murphy is a grad of Life University in Marietta, Georgia, as well as completing his masters in  Sports Health Sciences/Sports Injury Management.  Dr. Murphy has retained his love of sports and physical training and enjoy watching patients achieve a competitive edge and a quicker healing time through chiropractic. Dr. Murphy has lived in the East Atlanta area since 2002. His wife Christy is an occupational therapist at Georgia Hand and Microsurgery in Buckhead. She shares his love of helping people achieve a higher quality of life. They have a son Jack, and a daughter, Gracie, and two dogs.  Dr. Murphy is an avid runner, into fitness, food, family/friends and travel.
